Product Info:
Lovely Vintage Arita Fine Porcelain. These are a hand-painted set of snack plates and cup. There is a divit in the plate to hold the cup. Painted on the cups and plates is the scene of a Geisha holding a parasol being pulled along in a rickshaw. There is gold trim to her outfit. The porcelain is very delicate — you can see your fingers through them if held up to the light. Both cups and plates have platinum/silver trim at edges and along handles. Snack plate has a round impression built into one end where the cup base fits perfectly. Plate also has a raised handle at one side. This set is great for snacks [or a dessert] with coffee/tea, or as a luncheon plate.
Exceptional Vintage Condition.
